The history of «Glusk Secondary school № 2 » dates back to 1922.
School motto is «Our school is for everybody».
The main idea is «Not a child adapts to the school but the school adapts to abilities, needs and capabilities of every child».
Priorities of work:
-intelligence and health saving;
-personalization of education;
-STEAM-education and SMART-learning;
-national identity;
-preserving of natural, historical and cultural heritage of Glusk;
-maintaining ecological balance in the school area;
-social orientation of children’s and youth’s initiatives.
The school staff preserve the school traditions and keep in touch with former pupils living not only in Belarus but also abroad.

Formation of technological awareness of pupils who are ready for independent life and active lifestyle in conditions of high-tech information society.

1. To carry out a complete renewal of the old warehouse building (the roof, the walls).
2. A full renewal of engineering network.
3. To purchase the equipment for the carpentry workshop.
4. To create conditions for the creative initiatives development among pupils.
5. To organize a club HandMade.

A detailed description of activities within the project in accordance with the set tasks

1. Preparation of the project, technical documentation for the engineering network renewal.
2. Carrying out a complete renewal of the old warehouse building (the roof replacement, brick cladding of the building, the walls and ceiling alignment and painting, the floor replacement).
3. Purchasing and modernization of the equipment for the school workshop

Project justification
|
According to the National strategy of steady social-economic development of the Republic of Belarus until 2030 there is a task to provide highly qualified employees with high level of qualification for knowledge-intensive, high-tech manufacturing to provide the functioning of educational system according to the principle «education through all life».
Technical labor lessons for boys at school contribute to the formation not only labor skills and abilities but also awareness that labor is the basis of personal and social well-being.
The school administration works actively to popularize working specialties among pupils, pays special attention to quality pre-profile and profile preparation for the carpenter’s occupation.
For successful implementation of all the set tasks it is necessary not only to re-equip the technical labor room, but to make a school workshop with the aim to make the quality of pupils’ skills during the labor lesson similar to professional skills at vocational schools.
